AI is bringing about lasting changes to medical education and opening up new opportunities for teaching and learning. At the 2026 Teaching Day, more than 50 participants discussed current developments, challenges, and specific examples of application. Three keynote presentations highlighted how artificial intelligence is already shaping everyday learning and the potential it holds for the education of tomorrow.

The new Outpatient Clinic for Pediatric Prevention and Sports Medicine (PaePSi) at the University Children’s Hospital in Magdeburg offers comprehensive preventive care and sports medicine services for children and adolescents ages six and older. The official launch event will take place on June 17.

Under the theme of interdisciplinary exchange and cross-sector networking, the 4th Symposium on Regional General Practice was held on June 3, 2026, at the Faculty of Medicine of Otto von Guericke University Magdeburg. The event brought together numerous stakeholders in regional healthcare and provided a platform for professional dialogue, networking, and shared perspectives on current challenges in the healthcare sector.
