May 19, 2026 - A new research project at UMMD is examining how odors have shaped medicine, nursing, and societal perceptions since the 19th century. Medical historian Dr. Monja K. Schünemann is also investigating which prejudices and patterns of perception continue to influence everyday hospital life today. The project is seeking eyewitnesses.
